Old Fashioned Southern Hoe Cakes

If you know you know I finally got it mastered I will leave the recipe below. #fyp #hoecakes #goodeating #good #lemon8 🥞 Southern Hoe Cakes Ingredients * 1 cup yellow cornmeal * ½ cup all-purpose flour * 1 tablespoon sugar, optional * 1 teaspoon baking powder * ½ teaspoo

I'm from Tennessee and my mom and grandmother taught me to use cornmeal, buttery or regular milk, one egg and hot grease dripping mixed in the batter and leave enough grease to cover the bottom of your skillet. oh I don't measure my ingredients. I don't measure my ingredients but the ones in this recipe work fine

wow 😮 now let me get some syrup 😁😋 and it's on like Fred Flintstone
